Expand your product line with custom laser engraved leatherette patches. Engraved with a high-quality fiber laser for crisp, clean detail, these patches come with a built-in heat press adhesive — no sewing required. A 15-second press bonds them strongly to hats, bags, jackets, and apparel.

Press Instructions

• Temperature: 302°F – 320°F
• Press time: 15 seconds
• Use a cover sheet to prevent surface burning
• Warm up the hat or object first — the patch will tack in place without tape
• If using thermal tape, place only a small piece on the edge — tape outline may press into the surface

Design Tips for Best Results

Leatherette patches are typically under 2" tall, which means designs scale down small. Keep these guidelines in mind:

• Simple, bold designs work best — closely spaced objects and thin text tend to merge together at small sizes
• Spread elements out — more spacing between objects produces a crisper engrave
• Avoid complex, detail-heavy artwork — it will lose clarity when scaled down

File Requirements

Best to worst file format for laser engraving:

1. SVG (best) — 1-color black, ready to laser
2. PDF — vector preferred
3. Transparent PNG — acceptable but less precise

Full-color images are accepted — we will convert to black and white and vectorize before engraving. For the sharpest result, submit a 1-color black SVG file.

Results may vary based on design complexity and scale. Simple, high-contrast designs produce the best laser engrave quality.
